Catalyst Accelerator

Do you have a passion to see revival in New Zealand and want to learn how to partner with God in seeing this happen? Are you passionate about Jesus? Are you wanting to surrender every part of your life to Him?

God is looking for a generation who will give Him their ‘Yes’ in every area of their lives. We are called to be a whole-hearted people fully surrendered to God’s call for our individual lives.

Isaiah 6:8 ‘And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”

Catalyst Accelerator might be just what you are looking for.

We exist to train, empower, support and encourage young Christians who are passionate about revival being their every-day reality.

You will get the opportunity to learn alongside the rest of the Catalyst team, some of whom have been in ministry for many years. There will be collective times of prayer and worship as well as space for you, individually, to grow and learn in your specific ministry areas.

What does Catalyst Accelerator involve?

There are currently two options for 2023.

Vineyard College

This option involves formal Christian study as well as practical ministry with Catalyst Movement.

You will be completing a Certificate of Christian Ministry through Vineyard College. It is a Level 4 course worth 120 credits and is a full time course. You will be required to complete 15 hours of study and 15 hours of practical ministry a week. All study is completed online except for 2 block courses throughout the year.

The fees for the Vineyard College course are $4000 and we would require $500 for the Catalyst Accelerator course. There may be some extra costs to purchase required texts for Vineyard College.

You may be eligible for a student loan to help with the Vineyard College part of the fees. All fees are to be paid before commencement of the course. If there are any issues concerning fees, please contact us.

This study option is 30 hours a week.
There will be 2 full days (Monday/Thursday) where you will be expected to be onsite with Catalyst Movement. During these two days you will join with the team in worship, prayer and evangelism. There will also be modules of training and space for each individual to explore their chosen area of ministry.

Practical Ministry

This option is more suitable for those who want to work part time while still exploring ministry and calling. It is a 6 month commitment with the option of extending it to a full year.

You will be required to be onsite with Catalyst Movement for 2 full days a week (Monday/Thursday). During these two days you will join with the team in worship, prayer and evangelism. There would also be modules of training and space for each individual to explore their chosen area of ministry.

The cost of this option is $500 for 6 months. This covers resources, printing, Catalyst Project fees, and end of program celebration. All fees are to be paid before commencement of the course. If there are any issues concerning fees, please contact us.

FAQ

Who can apply for Catalyst Accelerator?

Anyone who is interested in exploring more about ministry and is passionate about seeing God move here in New Zealand. This course is designed for young adults ideally between the ages of 18-35. 

Where is this program located?

For now, all students will need to be living in Auckland to attend Catalyst Accelerator. Our onsite Catalyst meetings are located in the Eastern Bays area of Auckland. 

When does Catalyst Accelerator start?

The course begins on January 23rd 2023 for both Options 1 and 2. Option 1 is a full year and will end mid-December. Option 2 is a 6 month commitment and will end mid-July. 

What if I’m working part time?

Option 2 may be a possibility for you. You are only required to attend Catalyst for 2 days a week. 

Do I get a qualification from Catalyst Accelerator?

If you choose option 1, then you will come out with a Certificate in Christian Ministry from Vineyard College. WIth option 2, there is no formal qualification. Catalyst Movement is not NZQA approved at this point in time.

What happens after Catalyst Accelerator?

The aim of this program is to train, equip and empower our students to be able to start working in their chosen area of ministry. There may be an opportunity to join the Catalyst Staff Team or maybe join another already existing ministry.
